I'm super excited to announce the publication of my first book! Vital Brain Cookbook: Food as Medicine for a Happy and Healthy Brain.
This book was inspired by my dad's illness, my love of food as medicine, and the course I teach on preventing dementia and optimizing your brain health for life based on the work of Dr. Dale Bredesen, author of End of Alzheimer's.
These very same lifestyle and nutritional principles can be applied for treating and preventing depression and diabetes as well.

I look forward to spreading the news that while dementia is on the rise- 3rd leading cause of death in the US!!! and it affects women 2x more than men (!!), it is PREVENTABLE. The sooner you learn what you can do and start doing it, the better.

I also want to bring awareness to the idea of becoming a SuperAger- someone in their 80's who has the brain function of someone half their age in terms of brain volume, connectivity, activity, energy, social interaction, and s***k. Set your sights high and start to make it happen.
