Today was one of those days that fills your heart in a way words barely capture.
Our Christmas party at Gull Arbor Senior Living brought together residents, staff, and families—and for a few beautiful hours, it truly felt like one big family.

There was laughter echoing through the rooms, hugs exchanged across generations, stories shared, and so much love in the air. Watching our residents surrounded by the people who care for them, and the families who trust us with their loved ones, was a powerful reminder of why Gull Arbor exists.

Thank you to our incredible staff who pour their hearts into this home every single day, to the families who showed up with joy and gratitude, and most of all to our residents—you are the heart and soul of this place.

Moments like these aren’t just celebrations… they’re memories being made.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Richland Area Homeschool children and families for sharing your time, voices, and joy with our residents. Your Christmas songs filled our home with laughter, memories, and a spirit that can only be described as pure joy.

At Gull Arbor, moments like these fill our hearts.
One of our residents spent the afternoon helping a staff member’s child with her school project — sharing stories, guidance, and the kind of wisdom that only comes from a life fully lived.

It’s a reminder that you’re never too old to have purpose.
In fact, the wisdom of our older generations is one of the most valuable gifts we have to offer the world.

Here, generations meet, learn from each other, and grow together.

Yesterday’s Thanksgiving at Gull Arbor filled my heart in the sweetest way. ❤️
Families gathered together, kids helping in the kitchen, and everyone sharing in the meal felt like the true meaning of Thanksgiving. The love in the room was so real — laughter, stories, and the simple joy of being together around one big table.

To all the families who came, who cooked, who helped, who loved on our residents… thank you. Your presence made the day richer, warmer, and so special. Moments like these are what we’re most thankful for — a home filled with connection, generations coming together, and the kind of kindness that stays with you.

Every day at Gull Arbor reminds me how blessed I am to be part of this amazing team.
The compassion, laughter, and genuine love that fills our home isn’t something you can teach — it’s something each person brings from their heart.

We don’t just “care for residents”… we do life with them. We celebrate with them, sit with them, laugh with them, and yes — we miss them when we’re away. They’ve truly become like family to us. And the way our team goes the extra mile, even on their own time — taking someone out for lunch, sharing a special moment, or simply giving that extra attention — speaks volumes about who they are.

This place thrives because of the people in it.
Because of the tenderness… the joy… the memories shared… and the dignity and respect we give to every person who calls Gull Arbor home.

So thankful for this beautiful team and the beautiful hearts behind the care. 🧡

Last night at Gull Arbor, our living room turned into a little slice of heaven. Brad sat down at the piano and began to play Blessed Assurance — one of my all-time favorite hymns — and you could feel the whole room shift.

Our residents grew quiet, some closed their eyes, some lifted their hands, and others simply smiled as the memories and comfort of that beautiful song washed over them. Moments like these remind me why this place is so special.

To hear Brad play and watch our residents soak in every note was a blessing all on its own. These are the moments that stay with you — the ones that whisper peace, hope, and God’s faithfulness right into your heart.

This is our story, this is our song…
And what a gift it is to share it together. ❤️🏡✨

This moment right here… it stopped us all in our tracks. ❤️

Our residents gathered together in the living room today to give God praise, and what a powerful sight it was. Brad, the son of one of our dear residents, sat at the piano while his mom, Joyce, sang beside him — a moment none of us will ever forget.

Because in July, Joyce was given no hope.
A doctor told us she would never walk again… that she would pass from pneumonia within the month. But God had another plan. And we had a team at Gull Arbor who refused to give up on her.

Through love, relentless caregiving, prayer, and activating her body’s ability to heal — Joyce is here. Standing. Singing. Worshiping with her son at her side.

It brings tears to our eyes because this moment was worth every battle we fought with medical professionals who said, “Let her go.”
We chose to fight for her instead.

And today, we give God all the glory for His abundant provision, mercy, and healing.
Gull Arbor is more than a senior living home — it is a place where faith grows, hope lives, and miracles walk right into the living room.

God is good. 🙏🏼✨

Today was one of those days that reminded us exactly why Gull Arbor feels like home. ❤️

Dennis, the son of one of our dear resident, prepared a full homemade ham dinner for every single person in our home — residents, families, staff, and even the little ones who bring so much joy to our days. The table was full, the laughter was loud, and the love in the room was unmistakable.

Moments like this are what make Gull Arbor so special. We aren’t just a senior living community… we’re a family. A place where generations gather around the same table, share stories, and remind each other how beautiful it is to belong.

A heartfelt thank you to Dennis for cooking a meal made with so much love for the people he loves. Your kindness filled not just plates, but hearts. 💛

What a gift it is to witness these moments.
