Fiber Friday: Pumpkins!
Couldn’t pass up a Halloween Fiber Friday.
Pumpkins are often thought of as sweet, but they’re actually just as delicious in savory dishes. If you’re buying a pumpkin to eat, skip the big orange carving ones and grab a blue or green heirloom variety like Jarrahdale or Kabocha. They’re denser, sweeter, and have much more edible flesh.
