Business Spotlight: Rooted Chiropractic
Owner: Gretchen Dilley Bly
This week’s Richland Chamber of Commerce Business Spotlight is Rooted Chiropractic, owned by Dr. Gretchen Bly, DC. She has been in Richland for one year and has big plans for adding to her practice in 2026
"My vision for opening my practice was to create a family-friendly space to provide quality chiropractic care to all ages, infancy to elderly. In the year I've had my office in Richland, I've also seen a need and desire for additional complimentary services in the community. Beginning in February, Rooted Chiropractic will be adding a licensed massage therapist and a certified midwife seeing clients on a weekly basis. A licensed esthetician will also join the office once a month, booking facials and other services," Dr. Bly says.
Born in Idaho, Gretchen got her undergrad degree at Boise State. Her interest in chiropractic treatment started when her mom worked for an Activator chiropractor who after Gretchen earned her degree, mentored her and taught her his techniques. His influence led her to Portland, OR, to get her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2003. She and husband Dakota decided to move to the Midwest a few years ago after a short trip to Branson captivated them. They have four children: twin girls Whitley and Kendall (17), sons Bridger (8) and Soren (7). She says the move to Lebanon has been a good one for the whole family. When there was an opportunity to start a practice in Richland, she decided it was time. Then the opportunity to work two days a week at True Wellness in Lebanon came up and she took it. Her hours and availability are posted on her page (Rooted Chiropractic). Generally, she is in Richland M-W-F and in Lebanon T-TH-SAT.
Dr. Bly’s philosophy of treatment is a bit different from chiropractors who do general adjustments. She uses targeted, specific adjustments that are both gentle and specific. You won’t find lots of equipment in her office. She works with a small activator that uses force and directionality to facilitate the body’s own self-healing. And she uses her hands, her knowledge of the human body, and essential oils to effect change.
Gretchen has a strong faith in God and named her business in honor of a verse in Ephesians (3:17): "so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (ESV).
