I attended on Saturday 3/14/26 in Raleigh, displaying my Warren and Franklin Counties NC branches of my family tree. I got to meet and talk with AAHGS chapters, State Archives of North Carolina and many family historians and genealogists. Thanks for the opportunity

On 3/5/26, I was invited to be on a panel to discuss genealogy with Finding Your Roots for PBS-NC. Unfortunately, it didn't air on TV but the experience was AMAZING!! The panelist were my favorite genealogist/historian/educator .sanders and Richard Cox from People, Not Property. We screened an episode of the show featuring Rhiannon Gibbons and Danielle Deadwyler. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE talking about genealogy. Hopefully, I'm a few steps closer to meeting Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

I had a client who needed research for his application for the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). He was set on one paternal ancestor, but the documentation didn't prove his relationship. However, I found a maternal ancestor that had all the documentation he needed. It was a pleasant surprise when he emailed me on my birthday (3/1) to tell me his application was accepted! Another client happy with my research.

So excited about my exhibit on Saturday! I have been a part of the NC America250 committee for my county and my exhibit opens on Saturday 2/28 from 10-4pm. If you’re in the area, stop by, see the wonderful work the guest curators have put into it and talk to us and ask questions!
