We are looking for passionate mobile Phlebotomist’s/Medical assistants in the Long Island, Five Towns, Great Neck area!

PhlebX seeks an experienced, full-time Mobile Phlebotomist who has a passion for caring for people and has a minimum of two years’ experience. Mobile experience a plus.
As a PhlebX Phlebotomist, you will be assigned to Brooklyn, longisland, Queens and surrounding areas and will be responsible for the procurement of blood and other laboratory specimens from home-bound patients.
This position requires attention to detail, a great attitude, empathy, patience, a caring spirit, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide patients with the highest level of care.
• Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
• Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PhlebX and our partners.
• Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures.
• Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required).
• Transport specimens to local lab or drop off locations for processing
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy or Medical Assistant
• Reliable, efficient transportation (THIS IS A MOBILE PHLEBOTOMY POSITION) with valid driver license and proof of current liability insurance
Experience:
• Phlebotomy: 2 years (Required)
