❄️’Tis the season! 🤧

❄️Did you know — along with flu, RSV activity typically peaks in the winter months. ☃️

❄️RSV is the most common cause of hospitalization in infants in the US. To help prevent respiratory illness, an RSV antibody is recommended for infants entering their first RSV season and children under 24 months of age at risk for severe RSV disease. 👶

❄️Although they’re administered similarly to vaccines, infant RSV antibodies are not vaccines & they do not activate the immune system. Rather, the antibodies themselves protect against disease. 🦠

❄️We still have infant RSV antibodies available! Please call our office at 816-776-5413 with any questions. 📞
