I am so excited to share that I have been invited to provide massage therapy on the medical team for the 🇺🇸US gymnastics championships and Olympic trials in MN! Annie Lively, Licensed Massage will be closed June 22-July 5th. I can’t wait for all that’s in store and for the opportunity to care for our country’s best! Thank you for all of your prayers and support. You ALL play a tremendous part in me pursuing this dream and I can’t wait to share this journey with you when I return! I just had a client ask me about
”scalenes” and just what these muscles of the neck look like so, I got excited and thought, let’s talk about it! These small looking muscles hold a lot of power. When they get very tense and tight, they will many times cause knots, or adhesions in the head, jaw, cheek, and behind and above the eye. As a result, tension headaches can also happen. Keeping your sleep positioning of the head neutral, stretching, focusing on your breathing and massage therapy can help keep these muscles moving and happier!
