When something frightening, stressful, or life changing happens in a person's life, it can cause them to become traumatized. Experiencing trauma can increase a person's risk of developing a substance use disorder, among other mental health problems.

For this reason, it is important to face your trauma, when you are ready, so that you can learn proper, healthy coping mechanisms in order to heal.

If you saw our Sept. Newsletter, you know that we have been blessed with the opportunity to move into a new Recovery Center! The additional space allows us to expand our programs and services to meet the needs of our participants!
