Our Connection Tea Party with one of our wonderful friends at Enhabit was truly something special. With live piano music filling the room, meaningful conversations flowing, and friendships blooming, the energy was warm and joyful from start to finish.
From charming hats to tea sandwiches, and teapots of all kinds scattered across the tables, every detail invited our residents to reminisce, laugh, and keep the tea party conversations going. Y’all… today was a full‑on rodeo celebration! We tipped our cowboy hats to Willie Nelson with rodeo‑style games, big laughs, and tons of Western flair. From lassoing the Engagement Director to ring toss walker races and barrel racing fun, the competition was fierce and the smiles were nonstop!
Bandanas were tied, cowboy hats were worn proudly, and it felt like the rodeo was truly in town. What a boot‑stompin’, laugh‑filled way to celebrate an iconic legend and an even more legendary day together! 🐎⭐🎉

🥁 What a powerful performance! 🥁We were treated to an incredible percussion experience by the talented students of Oakland Elementary. The rhythm, movement, and enthusiasm filled the room — truly like our Drum Fit classes times a million! Our residents were fully engaged and loved every moment of it.
Thank you, 4th graders, for bringing so much life, sound, and community connection into our building. This was an experience we won’t forget! 💛

Today, we flexed our rhythm with Drum Fit — using drumsticks to tap along to the music on a big exercise ball! 🥁🎶 It’s a fun and lively way to stay moving and keep those bodies and minds active. No dance moves, just lots of good energy and a whole lot of tapping fun. We’re loving these twist-on-the-ordinary workouts that keep us healthy and happy!

We had a genealogist withFamily Roots for Life, Inc. join us today to share the incredible stories hidden in our family histories—and wow, what an amazing experience it was! From discovering Ellis Island immigration records to hearing about one resident’s journey toward becoming a nurse before choosing a different life path, the stories shared were both inspiring and meaningful. Learning, connecting with one another, and celebrating our roots was fun, informative, and truly special. We’re so excited to welcome her back on Mother’s Day. Thank you, Ms.Yolanda, for such a completely amazing experience! 💙

Residents wore purple and took time to write little cards filled with words of encouragement and hope. Wow—what an incredible experience at The Lion King Jr musical with National Youth Theater.!! The talent of these kids was truly amazing, from the music and dancing to the beautiful costumes. It meant so much that they came out afterward to shake hands with our residents.
Supporting youth theater at any age is so important. Thank you for inviting us and for taking the time to connect with us!
