We had one of our wonderful pianist, Maurice visit today, and the music filled the air with beautiful melodies that truly lifted everyone's spirits. The residents in both Connections and Assisted Living thoroughly enjoyed the performances, and it was so heartwarming to see the smiles and engagement that followed.

Music has a special way of touching the soul, and today’s performance was no exception. It reminded us all of the power of a gentle tune to brighten the day and bring everyone together in joyful appreciation.

We’re grateful for moments like these and look forward to many more shared through the universal language of music.

🎭✨ Today, a few talented cast members with the National Youth Theater - West Houston stopped by to get us excited for their upcoming play! We love encouraging the youth in all they do—especially when it comes to musical theatre. These incredible kids, dazzled us with their musical talent—they truly blew us away!

Supporting local children and their passions is something our residents cherish, and we’re so proud to cheer them on. We can’t wait to see the show! Mark your calendars—performances are on the 14th and 15th of November. 🎶🌟

👻🎃 Today was spook-tacular! We welcomed kids from three different schools, and let me tell you — their surprise at how much candy they collected was priceless! The joy on their faces was contagious, and our residents loved having the chance to give out treats right from their own apartments.

Seeing our residents enjoy helping the kids and watching the little ones feel at home truly shows that the spirit of Halloween — and community — is alive and well. We love intergenerational activities that bring everyone together, and today was proof that when neighbors unite, it’s nothing but fun, laughter, and the sweetest memories.

Here’s to more treat-filled moments, good old-fashioned fun, and the magic of community. Happy Halloween to all — it was a howling success! 🧙️👻🧁

👻🎉 Pre-Halloween shenanigans with all our friends at Pegasus Landing of Tanglewood and The Legacy at Falcon Point! Pure fun! Dressing up, dancing like no one’s watching, and just celebrating together—yes, please! 💃✨

We loved every second of it and honestly, can’t wait to do it all over again. Who says fall fun has to stop? Not us! 😉

Our EmpowerMe Wellness activities have truly been inspiring! Recently, we’ve seen how creative food projects can not only boost brain health but also bring so much joy and social connection.

Today’s Halloween-inspired activity featured spider-covered sugar cookies—spooky and fun! Last week, we enjoyed making and sharing tostadas, and the week before that, we had a delicious Indian dip. It’s amazing to see this activity grow into one of our building’s favorites, with residents eagerly participating and sharing laughs together.

Using food in such creative ways supports memory and cognitive health, while also fostering meaningful social interactions. These moments of creativity, community, and fun are so valuable—and they remind us how powerful food can be in enhancing well-being.

🐾✨ Exciting news! We’ve added a few more dogs to our team of furry engagement helpers. Our pet therapy dogs continue to make a pawsitive difference, especially for residents who aren’t able to join activities in the common areas.

They bring comfort, joy, and a little bit of magic — popping into therapy sessions and gently making their way around the building. The look of excitement and love when residents see them is truly heartwarming!

We’re so grateful for these special friends who help create such a warm and caring environment for everyone. 🐶💙

🌟 Today, we held our very first Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer Walk right here at our building! Families, residents, and staff came together to honor those we’ve lost, celebrate survivors, and raise awareness for these important causes.

With rain in the forecast, we made it an inside walk — and it turned out to be an energizing and heartfelt gathering that truly woke everyone up! The support, love, and community spirit were truly inspiring, reminding us that together, we can make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who participated and showed your support — your kindness means the world. Here’s to more moments of coming together and spreading awareness! 💜💗
