One of our favorite therapy dog Makena Lei visited today, and it never ceases to amaze me how her gentle presence softens the whole room. There’s something about the way she leans in, listens, and looks up with those understanding eyes that brings comfort without a single word. The residents absolutely light up when she walks through the door — they love her more than she’ll ever know.
We’re already counting the days until we get to welcome Makena Lei back again. 🐾💛

🐾 Our First‑Ever Dog Parade Was a Memory Maker! 🐾
To celebrate National Puppy Day, we brought the fun outside to our Connections courtyard — and it was everything our hearts needed. 💛
Seven dogs of all shapes and sizes paraded through, from a big lovable St. Bernard to the tiniest Chihuahua mix. The courtyard was full of sunshine, snowcones, wagging tails, and nonstop smiles. Even our little Makena Lei joined in on the fun!
The vibes were perfect — joyful, sweet, and so full of connection. This might just become a new tradition. 🐶✨
