Join our partners from the Southern Virginia Problem Gambling Collective for a virtual training, Intro to Gaming and Gambling, on Thursday, March 26 at 6 PM. This session will break down what gambling is, types of gambling, the history in Virginia, the spectrum from social to problem gambling, warning signs, connections to mental health and substance use, youth risk factors, and what you can do to make a difference.

From vinyl records that shaped generations to Jet magazines that told our stories when others would not… our youth are bringing the culture to life at Souls of Black Folks: Portraits in Motion.

This is not a program.
This is a living museum.
This is Black excellence across eras.

Our Connect youth have stepped into character, representing leaders, movements, music, HBCU pride, and moments that shaped who we are.

Now we need the community to show up for them.
