Through Shirkey Hospice’s What If program, we help make meaningful moments happen for our patients, especially the ones that bring comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy. Recently, Director Chris Brown helped arrange a special jam session for one of our patients with the Country Music Makers, who were also here performing for Shirkey Nursing Home residents.

It was a beautiful reminder that hospice care is about more than comfort. It’s about connection, dignity, and making room for the moments that still matter most.
