Meet Aveanna patient Omar and his dedicated speech therapist, Grace!

Since 2020, Grace has been guiding Omar’s speech therapy journey with compassion and creativity. The duo began their sessions in person and later seamlessly transitioned to telehealth. Grace's thoughtful approach has helped Omar feel confident and motivated every step of the way. Grace loves seeing Omar’s curiosity shine, whether through fun games like Cariboo (his favorite!) or virtual sessions that keep his progress going strong.

Thanks to her support, Omar has achieved major milestones, including initiating conversations with adults and advocating for himself in different settings. Omar looks forward to his sessions each week because Grace makes therapy engaging and meaningful. His mom shares, “Thank you to Grace for making my son’s days. He is very lucky to have her as a therapist, and I am grateful for all you do.”
