Greeatings Everyone,
I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to inform you that the practice will resume seeing clients on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. While we are deep in the midst of charting uncharted territories in the areas of overall health, safety, and healing, I will be holding down my part to bring a sense of calm, facilitate, and promote healing through massage and movement.
I have not been through a pandemic before, but have been thoroughly trained in Pathology, Best Practices for Safety, Sanitation, Hygiene, and Professional Ethics. That training as both a student of massage, and a massage educator included proficiency in maintaining the highest standards of cleaning and sanitizing the treatment space, all massage equipment, the private restroom, as well as the staircase and hallway outside the treatment space according to EPA and CDC standards before and after each session. Ventilating the treatment room with fresh air (opened windows and treatment space door) will occur after every session.
The following practice changes will be in place for the foreseeable future:
Treatment Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday first appointment available at 11AM and last appointment available at 5:30PM Saturday first appointment available at 10AM and last appointment available at 1PM.
All appointment requests will be within the current month only, and will be booked by me.
You can use the booking site, email or text me your appointment request. The process will be the same. We will engage in a brief conversation about the new policies and procedures prior to confirming the appointment. Transparency about my health and yours will be required.
Contactless Payment (Cash, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Check, PayPal) Preferred. Credit Card payments will be accepted as a prepaid invoice only.
Massage sessions will be walk up and directly in to the treatment space. No waiting outside the treatment area is available for early arrival. Please remain in your car, or enjoying the beautiful museum district if you arrive earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. To be clear, do not enter the practice property, 604 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, if you are earlier than 5 minutes prior to your session start time.
Hand washing upon arrival is required. I got plenty soap. KN95 Face Masks will be provided.
No guests are allowed to wait in the chair outside the treatment space, in the treatment space, or in any perceived available seating inside the practice property. If you need assistance to get to the treatment space, they can see you situated, but will need to leave the premises for your treatment, and can return once the treatment is concluded, and I exit the treatment space. To be clearer, unless medically necessary to assist you to the treatment space, do not have any guests (that includes family members, significant others, friends, neighbors, that cool person you just met outside) enter the property with you.
I am sending you my support in this journey that can make us more mindful, and ultimately, more resilient.
Yours in health,
Samantha
