Raw moments of motherhood.
There is real magic in them, honest and unfiltered.

We try so hard to make life look a certain way, but motherhood lives in the in-between moments. In tired arms, quiet closeness, messy days, and deep tenderness. These moments pass quickly, yet they’re the ones we’ll want to remember most.

A raw motherhood session isn’t about posing. It’s about being present, letting things unfold naturally, and documenting motherhood exactly as it is.

If this speaks to you, I would love to create this with you 🤍 Contact me to learn the details

There's something pretty magical about those first few weeks—tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, that newborn smell we all want to bottle up forever.

If you're expecting or just brought your little one home, I'd love to help you hold onto these fleeting moments before they're gone.

What are the benefits of paying for a concierge in home consultation with an IBCLC in comparison to the visits available at a pediatricians office or virtual help? MANY. As a provider that works in many areas, I can tell you that the most effective approach for lactation care is in home appointments.

•In home appointments are - at minimum - sixty minutes. These are not quick, rushed, appointments. Most initial consultations are ninety minutes ensuring that parents are able to ask all questions they may have.

•Staying in your home minimizes you and your baby to outside germs and viruses - especially in cold and flu season! I also always have a face mask and will happily wear it at your request.

•At each in home consultation I am observing a breastfeeding session in its entirety. From latch, to middle of feeding, to end. This allows me to pick up on different aspects of your baby’s feeding and truly be able to assess how they feed and why you have be seeing the issues you’re concerned with.

•Frequently after birth, maternal comfort is last in mind. Not during an in home consultation. Do you need to use the bathroom? Go for it. Need to eat while I assess your baby? Please do! Want to stay in bed or sitting on your inflatable donut cushion? YES.

•In home consultation also provides position flexibility. We can try koala hold on one breast and side laying on the other! Where else can you practice more than one position with your IBCLC at your side?

•Because of the length of our visit, we can often work on more than one topic at a time. Bottle feeding, to position help, to engorgement management, to pump efficiency. I love leaving our appointments feeling like I gave you every answer you needed. And don’t forget! Your personalized care plan recapping everything we discussed is sent your way by end of business day so that your sleep deprived brain doesn’t have to recall a thing 😉

🔥Hot take: Your brain can generate intrusive, unwanted thoughts without them meaning anything about you and who you are as a parent.

Postpartum OCD isn’t “I want to hurt my baby.”
It’s “Why did my brain think that?” followed by spiraling, checking, avoiding, and trying to get certainty.

This is common, treatable, and nothing to be ashamed of.
If this resonates, there’s help and things can get better. Email cherylhuber.ths@gmail.com or call 804-799-9292 to schedule an appointment. 💛

After having a baby, there are so many changes that our pelvic health therapy and our massage therapy team supports

Restoring the tone of your abdominal fascia and muscles, restoring the mobility and load transfer of your hip and pelvic bones, improving your bladder and uterus position and mobility... and of course restoring the strength and power of your pelvic floor!

It's never too late to address these things. One of our therapist's patients who was 35 YEARS postpartum had her 35 year old pain go away within 3 sessions. Whew!
