Meet Kira, Local Account Representative at Starmark serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.

Kira supports Funeral Professionals in her territory as a trusted, reliable, and prompt resource. Whether answering product questions, helping place an order, or assisting with website updates and product photos, her goal is to make their lives easier.

With just under a year at Starmark, she was drawn to the role by her background in customer service and account management and the opportunity to apply those skills in support of Funeral Professionals. She takes pride in earning referrals from current customers, calling it one of the highest compliments she can receive.

Since joining Starmark, Kira has strengthened her listening skills and attention to detail, recognizing that each funeral home and crematory has unique needs and deserves a personalized experience.

Meet Joann Carpenter, a Local Account Representative at Starmark serving the Northeast, specifically PA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME, and DC.

Joann works closely with Funeral Professionals, helping them identify and order the products that best fit their specific needs.

She joined Starmark in September 2025 after previously working in pet cremation. During her first two weeks in Richmond, Joann immersed herself in learning Starmark’s product line and patented features. She is especially proud of how quickly she developed a strong understanding of the products and what differentiates Starmark solutions in the marketplace. Joann notes that one of her greatest areas of growth has been developing a deeper understanding of how funeral homes operate. Navigating unique communication styles, time-sensitive expectations, and operational workflows has strengthened her ability to serve Funeral Professionals effectively.

Outside of work, Joann is an avid hot yoga enthusiast, enjoys exploring meditation, and making sure her cat, Lyla, lives her best life.
