In Memory of Maurice “Moe” Rice
Our RRSI family is deeply saddened by the passing of Maurice “Moe” Rice, who dedicated more than 20 years of service to Richmond Residential Services, Inc.
Moe was our Fiscal Officer, overseeing financial operations and ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. He was also the point person for everything from major construction projects to the smallest home repairs, guiding our operations every day with care, experience, and heart. From purchasing new homes and managing renovations, to selecting vehicles designed specifically for our residents and staff and working with vendors and contractors who wanted to be part of our mission, Moe helped shape the very foundation of who we are as an organization.
For many of us, Moe was the person we called when something broke in a home or a van was down, and without hesitation he would be there to help. His leadership, dependability, and genuine kindness were constants we could always count on.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Moe’s family and to all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. He will be deeply missed by his RRSI family.
Moe’s legacy lives on in the homes he helped shape, the people he supported, mentored, and called friends, and the countless ways he cared for everyone around him, forever part of what makes RRSI “A Place Called Home.” 💙
