This holiday season, Cedarfield assisted living residents “adopted” a very special family through Shineforth (formerly UMFS). Together, they wrapped 20 presents for adoptive mother Diamond, and her five children, ranging in age from 6 to 13. We are honored to have played a small part in her family's holiday joy this season. 💎

The annual team member holiday party is our most cherished tradition. It is a special moment when residents "give back" and recognize the incredible commitment our team members show every single day.

From the hand-baked pastries and custom floral arrangements by our Flower Guild to the live music performed by resident pianists, every detail is a labor of love. Seeing residents and team members connect reminds us that we aren't just a community; we are a family built on mutual respect and genuine appreciation.

🖼️ Creativity and community took center stage at our opening reception for the brand new permanent art collection at Cedarfield! Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous resident donor, our halls are now filled with incredible works by 12 talented local Richmonders who discovered their passion for art later in life.

Guests mingled over prosecco and hors d'oeuvres with the artists, learning the stories behind each piece, while the gentle melodies of a local harpist filled the air. We are grateful to everyone who made this inspiring evening possible.
