HUF Richmond and HUF Colonial Heights will be on a one hour delay.

The Richmond and Colonial Heights centers are opening on schedule.

The HUF Center wants to thank Keith, case manager at our Newport News site for his employment with us. He has been a real team player and was wonderful to our members. The members and staff held a going away ice cream party for him to thank him for all he has done for them. The HUF Center will miss you and wish you the best.

Colonial Heights got down to earth this spring. The garden project in front of the building shows off their horticulture skills and the value of wholesome hard work.

Candace Hopper, CEO is impressed with the results that now show the fruits (and veggies) of their labor and looks forward to harvest time.

Hooray for Spring-HUF Center Newport News and Norfolk celebrated the new season with a Spring Fling event. Both members and staff enjoyed a full day of food , fun and games. Everyone had a great time and look forward to summer. Rumor on the street is Regional Director Mary wants to do these events every week because they are so easy to pull off. Great job Team HUF

Hope Unity and Freedom Center , LLC (HUF Center) is pleased to announce that Candace Hopper, LPC has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of the company. An experienced mental health professional and leader, Candace accepts this role as a natural progression of her successes here at the HUF Center.

Candace brings to our executive leadership over 17 years of extensive clinical, management and leadership experience, seven of those years here at the HUF Center. She has previously been in the Clinical Coordinator role, followed by the Program Manager position of the Newport News site. She then was Director of Clinical Services before accepting her new role as CEO for the HUF Center.

We are excited about Candace leading The HUF Center and look forward to her guiding our growth and expansion efforts as the premier mental health service provider in Virginia.

The HUF Center wants to express our greatest appreciation for the work and dedication Randy Wilson has given to our HUF members and our company for over ten years. Randy has announced he will step down as Executive Director to open the door to helping the underserved in other ways. As he continues to pursue his career goals in working with mental health and the homeless, we wish him the very best. THANK YOU RANDY !!!
