Our team went through special training to learn how to provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage for folks healing from surgery. Cosmetic surgery, in particular, requires specific training due to the unique nature of the procedures.

What to expect during a Prenatal Massage during the second trimester. Thanks for sharing, Kai!

A nice stretch for shoulder and back tension. The lat is a long, bad, thin muscle that covers a lot of area. It goes from the hip, all the way up the back to the bottom of the shoulder, and then a little thin strap crosses over the shoulder to the upper arm. This muscle works hard with swimming and pull-ups.

Many client clients love work on their “chicken wings” along the back of their shoulder blade.
Here Kai T shows a little demo of some gentle work along the border of the shoulder.

Anyone tired of this snow and ice yet?

We are so thankful for those of you who have been able to make it in this week! As a small business, weather events like this really affect our team. Every session you were able to manage to get in for this week was a blessing. 🙏🙏🙏

Thankfully the current forecast has eased up for this weekend.. to flurries!!! 🌨
Unless this changes again, we plan to be open as normal this weekend. (And we have heated tables and a Hot Stone Special with heated Himalayan Salt Stones going... https://nimbusmassage.as.me/SaltStone ) 🔥🔥🔥

For parking around our building, it is still fairly icy in the parking lanes and our back lot. We have been able to manage it all week by going slow and taking it easy, and penguin walking to the sidewalk. 🐧 But it is probably not cleared/thawed enough yet for folks with mobility concerns.

The team says they are able to get in on Tuesday, and we were able to get by on Monday and clear some of the snow from in front and behind the building. So we will be open again tomorrow.
Parking on Main Street might be a little tough due to how they have plowed, but will hopefully continue to clear during the day tomorrow.
The back lot is not plowed, but Kristina was able to get back there (and back out) today with her little car by going up Allen Street and up the alley.
