It's that time of year! Please help us help the Marines with their annual Toys for Tots program. We are an official drop off site and we need the box filled! They are picking up early this year, we need your new, unwrapped toy by December 9th. So many kids benefit from this huge undertaking that gets bigger each year. We are open Monday to Friday from 8 to 4. 5111 Lakeside Ave. on the corner of Lakeside Ave. and Vale St. Please help us share by reposting and telling your friends and family. She WOW'D us!!!! Way to go Rebecca! Your client and our team appreciate your flexibility! We were so proud to attend the 30th anniversary of Hanover Triad! The event featured area Sheriff and Police Departments, Triad members, and members of the community. There were several Congressmen there, Senators and Attorney General Jason Miyares who also spoke. Our very own Nancy Boyer played a key role in organizing the celebration and she did a bang-up job as usual!!!!

Did you know that we teach the Personal Care Aide course? This a great way to start a rewarding career as a Care Pro. Our 40-hour course is hybrid. You'll spend an initial 2 hours in our classroom. Our Care Pro Nellie got a WOW!!!!!!!! She got a great compliment from her client. His words," I was temporarily bedridden, I couldn't even let my dog in and out. Nellie did everything for me, as well as cooking, cleaning and laundry. She helped me get back to walking using a rollator and then I graduated, with her help, to a cane." Bravo Nellie, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were so happy to participate in the annual Case Manager Resource Fair at Woody Funeral Home Parham. Despite the rain, there was a big turnout. Area Case Managers and Social Workers got a chance to talk to many agencies with older adults being the common denominator.
