Such a great fit for Sandie!

I have been a Nabor for several years now. I find it to be very rewarding. I can honestly say I look forward to each visit whether it’s going to a doctor’s appointment, running errands or just staying home chatting and helping with chores.

My background is in geriatric nursing. I stopped working full time to raise our four kids and help care for my mom when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. So, when my friend told me about Naborforce when it came to our area I thought it would be a great fit.

My favorite part about being a Nabor is both developing relationships with ongoing clients and their families as well as meeting new clients while helping them with whatever their needs are. 💕

You'd never believe that Henry is 101!🎉

A Holocaust survivor living in Montgomery County, MD, Henry has a remarkable story and a wonderful curiosity about the world. He is truly an inspiration.

Henry loves getting out with his Nabors to explore museums and experience new things. On a recent outing, he visited the Glenstone Art Museum and had a wonderful time taking in the art and beautiful surroundings.

Not only are these visits fun and engaging, they also give his daughter peace of mind knowing he has new and interesting people to spend time with. Added bonus...his Nabors love it too!

Alveta loves the flexibility!💪

I enjoy being a Nabor because I get to help people and earn a little extra spending money at the same time. It’s the best of both worlds! I also love traveling into neighborhoods I’ve never visited before. And, working with Naborforce has been such a pleasure. They’re a reliable, trustworthy company, and I’m proud to be part of it.

I was born in Washington, DC, and spent many years in government contracting, managing and writing proposals to help companies win federal business. One of the things I appreciate most about Naborforce is the flexibility. It allows me to continue serving with Samaritan’s Purse — in fact, I took two months off in 2025 to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts in North Carolina and Tennessee.

In my spare time, I love diving into research on health topics, working on jigsaw puzzles, reading mysteries, and watching classic film noir from the ’40s and ’50s.🧩📽

Mary missed helping others, and then she found Naborforce!

As a retired registered nurse for over 41 years, part of me missed helping others. Even though my retired life was very full and satisfying I decided to try Naborforce after my son-in -law had heard about the company and said he thought it was “a perfect fit”.

Naborforce has provided me with such a variety of enjoyable encounters with all types of people. From helping someone get their driver’s license renewed to picking up a rug someone bought on Facebook marketplace. You see people striving to navigate their physical, mental or emotional challenges so they can live a full life independently and they just need a little help from a “Nabor” to achieve that.

I personally had an older brother with mental challenges and if Naborforce had been available to him I think he could have had visits or outings that would have made his life more expansive and connected.

I always look forward to working with each client. They have all enriched my life.
