About the Eye Doctor

Dr. Mina Hoang, a long time resident of Houston, received her Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University. She then earned her Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist. Other than routine eye exams for the whole family, she can also manage and treat most eye injuries and diseases.

During her optometric training at Bridge Builders Eye Clinic and Quantico Naval Medical Clinic, she gained valuable experience in the treatment of ocular diseases and co-management of LASIK and cataract surgeries. Dr. Hoang has special interests in the management of dry eyes and difficult to fit contact lens patients. She enjoys getting to know the patient and their daily visual demands to get the most accurate and realistic prescription.

Dr. Hoang has been taking care of patients for the past 7 years before deciding to open up her own private practice. She grew up on the southwest side of Houston and is ready to plant roots in Richmond, TX! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, playing with her fur baby and all things coffee.
