Winter storms gave a flex πŸ’ͺ🏾 in the month of January BUT that did not stop EKU Employees from finding ways to put in the steps. Our top finisher in the step challenge averaged over 22,000 steps per day! It was still a very close match! πŸ†

Of all employees who participated in January, we saw an average daily step count of 5328. πŸ‘Ÿ Let's break that for the month of February!

Here are some ways to get more steps in during your work day! 🀩

⌚- Use the stairs instead of the elevator.
πŸš—- Park farther away from your office building.
πŸ‘Ÿ- Take a 5 minute walk break every hour.
🚽- Choose a restroom on a different floor.
πŸ’πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ- Utilize a standing desk with a walking pad.
πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ- Plan walking meetings with your office staff.
🀳- Walk during phone calls.
