✨ Please Join Us in Welcoming Dr. Emma Moredock to RVA Dental Care! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Emma Moredock to our practice! Originally from West Virginia, Dr. Emma found her way to Virginia to attend James Madison University (go Dukes!), then went on to earn her dental degree from the VCU School of Dentistry. She completed a General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where she gained advanced training and practiced for several years before making her way back home to Richmond.

Dr. Emma is passionate about building genuine connections with her patients and making dentistry feel approachable, comfortable, and judgment-free. She also regularly joins a team of local dentists on mission trips to Jamaica, providing care to underserved communities—an experience she describes as one of the most meaningful parts of her work.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Emma playing tennis, enjoying local live music, or sharing a great meal with friends. She lives in Bon Air with her husband, Stephen, and their pup Alfredo—who may just be the real star of the family 🐾.

We are so excited to have Dr. Emma on our team and can’t wait for you to meet her! 🩵🦷

Yesterday we celebrated an incredible milestone at RVA Dental Care 🩵

After opening our doors in October 1998, Dr Jeffrey Friend, officially retired, closing a remarkable chapter that shaped our practice and touched countless lives. For over 26 years, Dr. Friend built more than a dental office—he built a place rooted in trust, compassion, and excellence. Generations of patients have been cared for under his leadership, and so many team members have grown because of his guidance and example.

Dr. Friend, thank you for your dedication, your vision, and the legacy you leave behind. RVA Dental Care is what it is today because of you, and your impact will be felt for many years to come.
