With 7 acres of land, much of that playground, Tuckaway Barony is conveniently located in the West End near Three Chopt Road and Cox Road, just off Broad Street near Innsbrook.

Our Story

Tuckaway Barony is conveniently located in the West End near Three Chopt Road and Cox Road, just off Broad Street near Innsbrook. Many Tuckaway-Barony parents work nearby and are able to visit during the day.

The children at Tuckaway-Barony are divided by age group into two buildings: Barony I for younger children and Barony II for school-aged children. Tuckaway's bright and extremely spacious age-appropriate classrooms allow children to receive care appropriate for their age and stage of development. Barony I's preschool classrooms also feature supervised, ongoing computer access, so children are prepared for increasingly technology-based elementary school curricula.

Barony also offers two separate age-appropriate playgrounds, so children are able to run and play with their peers at their own stage of development. Barony II's playground features over 2 acres of space for soccer, kickball, flag football, and many other activities. Tuckaway's spacious playgrounds also contain large, in-ground swimming pools carefully supervised by teachers and certified life-guards, and sectioned off by swimming ability and age, to provide the utmost safety to every child. Tuckaway also provides swimming lessons as part of the regular program.

Like all of the Tuckaway locations, Tuckaway-Barony always provides family-style dining with warm, home-cooked meals prepared in its very own kitchen. All of Tuckaway's menus are prepared according to USDA guidelines.
