Starting March 2nd, 2026, the Wayne County Health Department will start issuing birth & death certificates from other Indiana counties. This means you can get your birth certificate in Wayne County, even if you were born in another Indiana county. There is a $5 additional fee, and no corrections can be made. All corrections will need to be made in the original issuing county. If you have questions, please call 765.973.9245 #2

We are always here for questions or concerns. Our staff can get you tested, get you on the right path for protection, and provide treatment if needed.
