October 3rd marks the 31st anniversary of the first laser treatment on humans for TTTS, performed by Dr Julian DeLia at the University of Utah Health Sciences Centre. In the past 31 years, the techniques have been refined, and are more available to the community. Please take a moment to thank those dedicated researchers and scientists who have spent their time ensuring that we do have treatment options for both TTTS and TAPS, and in particular, the Solomon technique that is becoming a standard treatment for TAPS across the world.
