A Message to our Community about COVID-19
Many of our patients have been asking if we will continue to stay open during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our community’s health and wellbeing are of utmost importance to us, and as we navigate this situation, McClain Chiropractic will rely on guidance from healthcare organizations as well as the national and local chiropractic associations.
Many, including the International Chiropractors Association, view chiropractic care as an essential healthcare service. In fact, numerous research studies have shown that chiropractic care positively impacts immune system function, which is especially important during this uncertain time.
As a result, McClain Chiropractic has chosen to stay open. We feel a responsibility and commitment to our patients and the community to do our part, and we believe this will be best done by continuing to provide our services. We will close the office from March 22-28 for our already scheduled spring break, but will resume providing chiropractic care on March 30th.
We will continue to monitor the situation as we realize that things may change, and we will make every effort to follow recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, as well as state and local health departments.
As a precautionary measure, we have implemented increased hygiene routines, as routine hygienic measures are the suggested best practice for prevention of viruses such as COVID-19. We also ask that if you are a patient and feel unwell, please take steps to safeguard those around you and stay home. We hope to be a support to the community in this time of need and thank you for giving us the opportunity.
