Seeking talent for upcoming political project - Richmond VA - NU - Week of Feb 9th
Greetings everyone!
NEW PROJECT JUST IN! Self tapes ARE REQUIRED for consideration! Here is what we know/need:
Project context: Political project
Nonunion project
Filming date: Week of February 9th (potentially Monday or mid-week)
Location: Richmond VA area
Rate: $1000 per talent - includes usage below - less any fees
Usage: Central Virginia, TV and digital - 1 year usage
Talent needed:
Mom - Any ethnicity, Ages 30-50
Dad - Any ethnicity, Ages 30-50
Kid - Boy - Ages 10 - 15 (middle school) - any ethnicity
(NOTE - real groups / families are encouraged to submit!)
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
–Submit 1 self tape (consolidating multiple takes) to casting@liquidtalentgroup.com no later than 9 am on Thursday, February 5th - sooner is better. Please be off-book for your audition, and it is preferred to have a reader. For self tapes, include:
For each person in your video, please include (if you are submitting as a group or family, please have each person provide information below):
–First and last name
–Age for child
Then go into the following scene/script.
[Scene: Kitchen table. Parent sits seriously. Kid slumps in chair, dramatic sigh.]
KID: Ughhh. If this is “the talk,” I already learned it at school.
PARENT (awkward): Well… not that talk.
KID: Oh no. Is this about va**ng? Because I—
PARENT: It’s about the economy.
KID: …That’s worse.
PARENT: Sweetie, the system’s kinda rigged. Billionaires and big corporations aren’t paying what they should, and regular families get stuck with the bill.
KID: So that’s why college costs a bazillion dollars?
PARENT: And housing. And childcare. Virginia could fund great schools and lower costs — if wealthy corporations paid their fair share.
KID: Instead we get casinos and gambling apps?
PARENT: Yeah. Politicians push stuff like casinos, skill games, and online gambling to raise money — but it barely covers anything, and it hits struggling families the hardest.
KID: Wow. I miss the other talk.
