At the Faison Center, our mission is simple - to give children and adults with autism and related challenges the best opportunity to improve their life's journey through evidence-based practice. Our mission across the lifespan is accomplished through specific programs designed to meet the needs of families at different points in their lives: the Faison School, the Faison Behavioral Health Clinic, and Faison Adult Services.

Farm days = the best days for our adult clients. 🌾🐴

Robert, Owen and Philip had a blast at Fox Moon Farm, helping care for the animals and giving the newest resident, Maverick, his very first walk around the farm. From trail work to feeding time, there were lots of laughs, fresh air and hands-on fun along the way.

We love experiences that build confidence, connection and joy — especially when animals are involved. 💙

Faison President & CEO Brian McCann recently stepped onto the Autism Law Summit stage in Orlando to deliver the conference's keynote address.

McCann outlined how our advocacy helped drive major legislative change in Virginia, reforming insurance criteria that routinely blocked children with autism from receiving ABA therapy. Titled "So You're Telling Me There's a Chance," the presentation told the story of how persistence and focused effort helped transform an idea into law in just 30 days.

This is what leadership looks like: pushing systems forward, expanding access and services, and helping families of children with autism navigate a complex world with greater clarity and confidence.

What a night! 🍷👠✨

Our Wine, Women & Shoes event last week was packed with everything that makes this fundraiser unforgettable — an animated live auction (custom jackets! dream trips!), amazing food, artisan vendors and live music that kept the evening buzzing.

But what made it truly special was the camaraderie and generosity in the room. Every bid, every ticket, every toast supported Faison’s Early Education Center, where our youngest learners with autism begin their journey.

Thank you to everyone who came out, dressed up and lifted a glass - and lifted our mission. We couldn’t do this without you! 💙
