The Foundation's Walk from Obesity is the only national walkathon event that brings together those who are directly affected by obesity. This year, we are all participating in National Walk from Obesity Day, which is a virtual Walk. Our team is taking steps by raising funds for critical research and drawing attention to the disease of obesity and the need for treatment and prevention efforts. Funds raised through this virtual event will benefit access to care and research grants, with COVID-19/obesity grant requests taking precedence. Then on September 26th, we will all walk to help raise awareness for a cause we care about.
