Over the summer, Dr. Hubert participated in a surgical mission trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan. He went with a small team of doctors, nurses, and support staff and visited Clinic No. 5 in Almaty. During the weeklong trip, he performed cleft lip repairs, burn scar surgeries, and other maxillofacial reconstructive procedures, including facial fracture repair, and gave lectures to medical students and surgeons from across the country. The experience also included time to explore Kazakhstan’s vibrant culture, from enjoying live music to seeing a glacier in the summer! ❄️🎶
