Congratulations Sydney Grote, CNA, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Sydney began her journey in healthcare at Rosebud Village in 2018, where she trained to become a CNA. Inspired by her mother’s encouragement and driven by a deep desire to make a difference, Sydney quickly discovered that while the job could be incredibly demanding, it was also the most rewarding path she could take.
Known for the strong bonds she forms with residents, Sydney finds daily fulfillment in the relationships she builds. Her coworkers describe her as someone who is always going above and beyond. She not only completes her responsibilities with efficiency and precision, but also supports other hallways, keeps her work area impeccably organized, and ensures each new resident is welcomed with a smile and a well-prepared room stocked with all essential supplies.
Sydney is a shining example of Rosebud Village’s C.A.R.E. Values. She brings pride, professionalism, and positivity to everything she does. Whether she’s lending a listening ear to a teammate, helping a family member through a tough day, or simply holding the hand of a resident who needs comfort, Sydney is there with empathy and grace.
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys traveling, relaxing at the beach, and attending concerts. Her fun-loving spirit and caring heart make her not only a valued team member but someone truly special to everyone she encounters. Although she often works without seeking praise, one coworker captured her impact perfectly: “I hope I get someone as caring and compassionate as Sydney to meet my needs and advocate for me when I’m in a
nursing home.”
