Meet Michaelle Warner, CNMT and RSO! 🏥
For over 20 years, Michaelle has been a trusted part of our Nuclear Medicine department, bringing compassionate care and expertise to our friends, families, and neighbors in Ray County.
Michaelle's journey into nuclear medicine began when her sister, a Registered Nurse working in cardiology, introduced her to the field. "I followed the Nuclear Medicine Tech around and was hooked," Michaelle shares. "Nuclear Medicine is such a fascinating field, and I love how diverse it is—there are tests to check out the functioning of lungs, hearts, kidneys, bones, GI, and so much more."
As both a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) and Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Michaelle ensures every procedure is performed with the highest standards of care and safety. But what truly sets her apart is her dedication to patient comfort.
"I have a passion for helping people," Michaelle explains. "I realize some people may be nervous about having a test, so I take my time to explain the procedure and what to expect. I do my best to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. I believe you can get a high-quality exam AND make the patient feel listened to and comfortable!"
Michaelle's appreciation for Ray Healthcare runs deep: "RCHH is a great community of people who are willing to help each other out. With the diversity of tests, I can be in outpatient clinic, inpatient, radiology, surgery, or the ED, and there is ALWAYS someone willing to help. I'm so appreciative of the caring nature of this hospital."
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing more about our Nuclear Medicine services and how this advanced imaging technology helps diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions—right here close to home.
