If you haven't been to the birth center recently, we have some new faces. Today we want you to meet Addie Herschler, our new office manager. We LOVE Addie ! Addie is likely the first voice you’ll hear or face you’ll see when you connect with Embrace and she’s here to make sure your experience feels smooth, supported, and truly personal from the start.
After having all three of her babies at home, Addie fell in love with the midwifery model of care/out of hospital experience and knew she wanted to be part of bringing that kind of support to others. She started with Embrace as a Birth Assistant in 2022 and now helps keep the birth center running smoothly as the Office Manager. Addie’s all about helping families feel confident and cared for.
Before joining the Embrace team full-time, Addie spent nine years at home raising and homeschooling her children and caring for several “bonus kids” along the way. Creating a nurturing home-based environment came naturally to her, and that same thoughtful, family-centered energy shines through in her work at the birth center.
Richmond has been her home for the last 10 years, and when she’s not at the birth center, she’s probably out exploring the trails along the James River, enjoying live music, or home working on never-ending renovation projects. She can’t wait to welcome you to Embrace.
