Good Morning Flockers!
WHO’s flocking ready for HERD FLOCK VII "Flock On"!?
The final countdown begins, less than 2 weeks!
We are so very excited our epic weekend is nearing! We can not wait to welcome you all back! Brace yourselves, pour your coffee and sit down for a quick read! Rain or shine we will flocking party again!
Our event began with a simple idea and has grown and taken off in more ways than we could have ever anticipated! Herd Flock is and will always be a completely nonprofit charity organization and event.
All the proceeds from your $25 weekend pass or $15 day pass donations will go back to the Richmond, ME community. This event is to support the local school music and creative programs! Your generous donations and support over the years has helped allow the community to continue to keep these programs growing for generations to come!
A special thank you to P.R lilly Auto and Fleet Repair for providing a wonderful place to gather and bang our heads. Stage V for once again putting together an epic line up! C.V. Builders inc. for their hand in bringing our kick ass stage to life! The entire Herd Flock team, friends and family who have helped clean up the brush, prepare the grounds, and make this event possible.
Thank you to all the bands donating their time and talents to help us put on another great year of amazing live local music! We have over 20+ bands, returning fan favorites and exciting new faces! We couldn’t do it without all of you!
This year we welcome a new local food truck to our family. OSP joins us with their delicious Italians, sandwiches, fresh salads, yummy desserts and more! 🥪🥙🍰
Some important reminders are below! 🤘🏻
•We love (and encourage) that a vast majority of you all will be attending for the full weekend and camping. While we have continued working on making more space available we would like to ask you keep all vehicles outside in the designated parking areas. You may drive in and unload, but we ask you please bring your vehicle out afterwards. This is subject to change based on crowd and space availability and safety.
We have been working on some new areas cleaning up/out for more tenting. We also will have a more designated family friendly camping area. Staff will be available to guide you to the perfect spot for your camping needs!
•Violence of any kind will simply not be tolerated.
•Weapons or weapon like items are not permitted at all.
•No personal fireworks or fires of any kind.
•No underage drinking or intoxicated driving. This event is 420 friendly and will not tolerate any sale or use of illegal substances. Please be responsible..
•Every single person entering the grounds is required to check in and must provide proof of ID. You will be required to sign our waiver (protects the event and property owners). You will then be given a wristband for the weekend which must be shown upon request if necessary.
•While we love those furry four legged family members, we do ask that you leave them at home. Service animals are the only exception, unless otherwise previously approved or discussed with a member of the Herd Flock team.
•Respect the land, pick up after yourself. There will be multiple receptacles all over the grounds to make sure trash and recyclables can be properly removed at the end of the event.
**Lack of respect and disregard for any of the event guidelines will constitute an immediate removal from the event for the remainder of the weekend with no re-entry or refund. This applies to every person in attendance, no exceptions.
While we hope for the best for the weather, we all know how summer weather can change quickly. We have taken measures to offer as much rain cover for our main check in area, band viewing area, and equipment. We continue to add and implement and improve this as we can. Please keep that in mind when packing up to join us. Maybe throw a tarp or two in your pack if you have one to help with your campsite cover in case needed.
Don’t forget your camping/sleep/equipment/cooler(s). Water/beverages, food, sunscreen/bug spray, flash lights (it is the woods it gets dark), batteries, any prescribed medications (we have a small first aid kit for small/minor emergencies)! We provide a plethora of porta potties for everyone’s use. There is no running water or hook ups so please keep that in mind for any water/clean up/cooking/drinking needs you will have.
This is a cash only donation event. Plus cash for the food truck, vendors, and band/Flock merch. *Individual vendors may accept cards, keep in mind internet connections can be spotty.
We anticipate another flocking good year and can’t wait to make new memories with y’all! Get yourselves packed and ready, load up the family and we will see you soon!
*sneak peak photo below of the band load in/turn around area we have been working on this year to widen and make things easier for our bands!
