Regrief is generally used to describe a child's grief, but it can be used for adults as well. As you continue on your journey through life and experience "big moments" (weddings, graduations, etc.) without your loved one, you may experience "regrief." Even if it's years later, the special occasion can cause you to feel the same grief you felt at the time of your loss.
In these situations, take a moment to acknowledge your grief and reflect on the memories you were able to share with your loved one. Know that they will always be with you in your heart.

Flag etiquette dictates that every time an American flag is to be stored or presented during a ceremony, its handlers should fold it in half twice lengthwise; then starting with the end opposite the blue field, make a taut triangular fold. Handlers continue to fold the flag in triangles until the flag has formed a triangular “pillow” with the blue field showing on the outside. Cemeteries around the country have reported a 72% increase in demand for green burials. Surprisingly, millions of Baby Boomers that have buried their own parents in the “traditional” way are among those most interested in green burial services. A Funeral and Memorial Information Council survey from 2015 found that 64% of people 40 and older were open to considering a green burial. In 2010 just 43% of 40+ said the same.

There are some main differences that make natural burials unique:
- No toxic chemicals
- Biodegradable caskets or urns
- Minimized use of fuels for burial (machines to lower casket)
- Flat stones as markers instead of large headstones
- Graves are buried at about 3.5ft compared to traditional 5ft
