Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Technician to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Technician will work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, and perform basic clinical tasks. This position plays an essential role in supporting both patients and nursing staff to ensure a safe and comfortable care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and mobility
-Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
-Monitor and report patient status changes to nursing staff
-Restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness
-Support nurses with basic medical needs
-Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused care
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an approved Nurse Tech program or current enrollment in a nursing program (preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
Mental Health experience preferred
Must pass drug screen and background check
