1. Commit - declare your relevant and meaningful goal and write it down as a form of commitment.
2. State your Why - state your motivations - why it's important to you, what benefits you'll get from it, and how you'll stay accountable.
3. Set a deadline - set a reasonable deadline to avoid procrastinating.
4. Reward - set a reward to look forward to and to keep you motivated.
5. Break it down - help to avoid overwhelm by setting progress markers.

The antidote to stress is relaxation. Restorative yoga focuses on relaxation, renewal, effortlessness and ease. Blankets, bolsters, straps, and other props safely support the body in various postures, which allow the body to move towards a state of balance. This practice soothes your nervous system, helps you quiet your mind and invites you to release deeply held tension.
Restorative yoga sessions are being offered at High Desert Fitness on the following dates and times; we welcome you to come in and relax from your hectic schedules with this yoga routine.

Trainer tip from Sam today!
As easy as it is to say, it can be just as challenging to stay hydrated. Drink water. Water has all kinds of benefits, many of which you can feel when done with consistency. It aids in digestion, keeps skin youthful, aids in weight loss, keeps the brain functioning and able to focus, along with a whole host of other benefits. Make it a habit to just carry a bottle of water around with you. This encourages you to sip frequently. Our bodies are 50-65% water and require keeping it there in order to function properly. When we aren't feeling well, we are told to drink water, flush the toxins. Tea, soup, fruit, whatever the suggestion is, you can bet the base of it is water, getting and keeping hydrated. πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§
