My “Tatanka” (larger size Lever Bow) feels and performs closest to a traditional longbow or recurve than anything else on the market or anything else ever designed. It also has some unique benefits. You don’t need a wrist brace or a leather arm brace, and in fact arm placement is simple, just get everything in a line with the arrow which eliminates any torque on the bow. You don’t need any archery glove or finger tab because the release is built in. Aiming is simple because there is no visual hindrance over the arrow. You have a direct line of sight along the shaft and over the arrow tip which makes Hill style “split vision”, gap shooting and even pure instinctive shooting easier. The quick change band slots allows for easier band changes or just to quickly remove and store the band assembly in a ziplock bag between shooting sessions to further increase the life of the power bands.

Important Announcement For Public Release! Please Share!
After being in the custom order business for close to a decade Kay and I have decided to make a change in how we do business here at APlusSlingshots.com. Starting the first of this new year we will continue to receive orders for replacement bands, ammo and other accessories as usual. When you order we will ship items such as that within 3-5 business days as always. However, we will no longer be taking custom orders for slingshots and slingbows as we’ve done in the past. Instead, we will be making batches of our various slingshots and slingbows throughout the year. When they are ready we will announce them as ready to purchase on our social media platforms and on our “Ready-To-Ship” page of our main website where you can purchase them first come first served. I want to be clear that we ARE NOT ending our business but rather adapting it to better fit with our lifestyle today. Because of health reasons I actually retired a couple of years ago and Kay is teaching full time again, so we want to be able to enjoy vacations and time together when she is off like we have not been able to do for a great many years because of my work. I have worked from an ongoing, full, year round order queue since we began. It has been wonderful and we really appreciate all your patronage and support of our products, but it’s time for me to slow down a bit more and do things at my own speed and pace without the constant pressure of a custom order queue. That said, I’ll still be working (mostly ongoing) through the year and putting up items to sell as they are finished. I’ll keep making slingshots and slingbows each month and rotate through our other unique designs throughout the year, so if you are wanting something, make sure to keep a watch out for it often. If you are wanting some of our special designs that you haven’t been able to get from us, you can always ask for it to be made and we’ll try to earmark it for you if you pay promptly whenever it is finished, but we can’t guarantee how long it will take us, or when it will be finished. If those requested items are not purchased within a week, we will just add them to our other stock items for sale to the public.
Kay and I want to thank you all again for being such fantastic customers! We look forward to continuing to do business with all of you for many more years, just in a bit different way. Happy New Year to you and yours and may it be one filled with life, love, laughter and joy!

Rubber has more uses than shooting, I use strips for the perfect clamping system! Quite a bit of work here to make a strong glue-up that no one sees. Internal positioning pins, crosshatching of all surfaces and good glue makes for stable strong permanent grips. 😉 Dries overnight and then final shape grinding, stain then spray finish.
