Lord, You don't call the equipped, You equip the called, and I need to stop disqualifying myself from what You're asking me to do.

I look at what You're calling me to and immediately catalog my inadequacies, my lack of experience, my insufficient skills, convinced I'm not ready.

Teach me that if You're calling me to it, You'll equip me for it, that Your calling comes with Your provision, Your enabling, Your empowerment.

Moses felt unqualified, Gideon felt inadequate, David was overlooked, yet You equipped each one for exactly what You called them to do.

Help me stop waiting until I feel ready before I obey, because readiness comes through obedience, equipping happens in the doing, not in the preparing.

Remind me that You specialize in using the unlikely, the unqualified, the unprepared, because then it's obvious that any success comes from You, not from human ability.

Give me courage to step into what You're calling me to even when I feel completely unequipped, trusting that You'll provide what I need when I need it.

Let me embrace this truth today, that God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called, and I am called, chosen, and will be equipped for everything You have for me.
