Ridgecrest Autism Awareness Ridgecrest Autism Awareness (RAA) was founded in February 2013.

Our Mission:
Providing education and support to families and children with special-needs and educating the local community to increase understanding and awareness to ensure a brighter future for these children. The main objective of RAA is to provide education and support for families of special-needs children and to educate the community to ensure a brighter future for these children. We accomplish this objective through parent-to-parent support, family social opportunities, and educational events designed to increase understanding and awareness in the community.

Hi Ridgecrest families! We want to thank everyone for their patience while we've been on hiatus. We hope to host some new events soon! We miss you all!

In the meantime, the First Class Petty Officer's Association (FCPOA) of VX-9 is hosting a fundraiser in support of Autism Awareness month! Come out and support RAA and FCPOA this weekend. They'll be hosting a car wash in Hanh's parking lot (across from Denny's) from 10:30-1:00 on the 15th, or grab lunch/dinner at Panda Express or Pizza Factory!

We handed over the donations we collected in April to Ridgecrest Autism Awareness for Autism Awareness Month today!

We raised $6,000!! Board Director Cherish Rindt was excited and taken aback when we gave her the check. Thanks for all you and all of RAA do Cherish! Your community stands behind you 💪🏻
