Would you let your kid drive before they learned to brake? Of course not. That's insane.

But we do the exact same thing in youth athletics every single day.

We teach kids to sprint before they can decelerate. We load them with weight before they can squat their bodyweight with control. We push performance before they understand basic movement.

If your kid's body is a car, fundamental movements are how they learn to operate it safely.

Squatting teaches them the brakes. Lunging teaches them steering. Rotating teaches them how to navigate turns.
