Big congratulations to our youngest office pup, Sage, on her very first dog show!

She joined all of her siblings in the ring for the first time this past weekend, and it was such a special experience to watch them shine together. 🐶✨

As always, Sage was well adjusted before stepping into the ring—because proper alignment means proper movement, and that makes the difference when precision and performance matter.

Fireworks Season is Coming – Start Preparing Your Pets Now!

Fireworks can be extremely stressful for pets, leading to anxiety, fear, and even dangerous escape attempts? But don’t wait until the loud booms start—NOW is the perfect time to help your furry friends prepare.

Start Now for a Calmer Summer:
✅ Create a Safe Space: Designate a quiet, cozy spot where your pet can retreat during fireworks.

✅ Practice Conditioning Sounds Gradually: Play low-volume fireworks sounds while rewarding calm behavior.

✅ Desensitize with Gentle Noise Training: While they’re eating or playing, try:

Clapping softly from a distance and slowly increasing the volume.

Dropping a book onto a counter (start softly and gradually make it louder).

Rewarding calm, relaxed reactions with treats and praise.

Say hello to our newest family member Sage! 🧡 Sage is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever! These brilliant and energetic pups are known for their unique "tolling" ability, where they playfully lure waterfowl for hunters. They're highly intelligent, full of energy, and always ready to work—making her the perfect partner for Dr. Haak in the great outdoors of the PNW!

Dr. Haak will be training this sweet pup as a working dog, so stay tuned for all the adventures ahead! 🦴✨
