David M. Goldsmith, LCSW I have maintained a Psychotherapy Practice in Ridgefield Ct. for the past 25 years. I specialize in treating Anxiety, Depression & Substance Abuse.

As a psychotherapist, I offer a highly personalized and holostic approach which is tailored to the needs of each child, adolescent, adult, couple or family. I provide a comprehensive therapy plan by incorporating a blend of traditional and alternative approaches. As a long time practitioner of yoga and meditation, I have expertise in utilizing and intergrating the principals and techniques of meditation and mindfulness into the psythotherapy experience. Treatment Services Provided:
Anxiety, Dapression, Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Marital, Family and Parenting issues, Grief and Loss, PTSD, Stress Management. Specialized Treatment Services:
Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Trauma resolution utilizing EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Mindfulness Techniques and Meditation Training. Insurance Information:
I am an in-network provider for Aetna and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Ct. All other insurance plans are out of network and would require self-pay.
