First Saturday is almost here, and Downtown Ridgefield is full of activity.

Start with Discover Downtown Dash from 10 AM to 2 PM. Explore downtown, solve clues, and compete for prizes. (Pre-registration has closed but you can still register in-person!)

Bringing kids? Stop by the check-in booth at The Greely Building - 304 Pioneer Street - for the Ridgefield Main Street kid-friendly scavenger hunt, designed just for younger participants.

Keep the day going with:
Easter Egg Hunt at Abrams Park (10 AM – 12 PM)
Spring Paint & Sip at Ridgefield Wine Bar (1 PM – 4 PM)
Featured Artist Reception at Ridgefield Art Gallery (5 PM – 7 PM)

Thank you all who came out to celebrate March First Saturday with us!

The Ridge Association Color Run was the centerpiece of the event. Families enjoyed this fun run/walk from downtown to the waterfront and back while getting absolutely covered in color! Ridgefield Neighbors on Watch volunteers made the run possible by keeping participants safe and on course.

The run started and finished at Overlook Park, where the arts month celebration festivities included painting rocks, decorating flags with Ridgefield Art Association, activities with Ridgefield Multicultural Initiative and Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, performances from Dance Fusion NW, warm up exercises with Ridgefield’s Tailored Fitness Studio, music and concessions. Rally from Ridgefield Raptors Baseball even came to hang!

All of downtown participated in the day - Toys on Main had a Fairy Hair Pop Up in the store, Nest Food Truck Ridgefield offered up chicken and waffles, and Botanas Snack Bar featured exciting, colorful specials. The Ridgefield Art Gallery hosted a reception in the evening, celebrating the March featured artist Diana Lynn Zolotko.

Last but not least, a few dozen community members gathered in Abrams Park with Ridgefield Garden Club to pull and remove invasive English ivy from our community park.

Nest Food Truck is serving up Crispy Chicken and Waffles for $12 - located at 120 N 3rd Ave.

Botanas Snack Bar is offering colorful snacks and drinks including the Rainbow Rush Bow, Color Cloud Cup, and Color Run Citrus Series. Color Run participants receive 20% off. Located at 219 Pioneer Street.

Decorate a flag for downtown on Saturday!

The Ridgefield Art Association will have this fun booth at Overlook Park during the Color Run Saturday. Flags that are created by the community will be displayed along downtown streets during the month of March in observance of Ridgefield Youth Arts Month.

The fun starts at the Color Run - but it doesn't end there! Check out what else is happening around downtown on Saturday, March 7.

Stop by the Ridgefield Art Association booth at Overlook Park from 9–11 AM to decorate a flag that will be displayed around town.

Don’t miss the Fairy Hair pop-up at Toys on Main from 11 AM–1 PM — a fun, sparkling stop for all ages.

And don't forget to visit The Ridgefield Art Gallery from 5–7 PM for their featured artist reception showcasing Diana Lynn Zolotko’s exhibit, “Timestamps,”.

Make it a full day downtown.

Our Annual Color Run is coming up on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00 AM at Overlook Park, and we can’t make it happen without YOU! 💙🧡

We’re looking for amazing volunteers to help with:
✨ Color stations
✨ Check-in & registration
✨ Set-up & clean-up
✨ Course monitors
✨ Music & fun vibes crew

Whether you can help for an hour or stay for the whole event, every helping hand makes a difference. The Color Run is one of our most fun community events of the year — full of laughter, music, and lots of COLOR! 🎨🎶

🎓 High school students can earn community service hours! This is a great opportunity to give back and have fun doing it.
