Feeney Funeral Home has operated for more than a century. It was founded in 1921 in Paterson, New Jersey, by John J. Feeney, and the Ridgewood location opened in 1956. The tradition is carried on today by third-generation funeral director David B. Feeney.

Feeney Funeral Home has earned more NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Awards than any other funeral home in New Jersey and is the only funeral home in North Jersey inducted into the NFDA Hall of Excellence. A leader in innovation, Feeney was among the first funeral homes in the region to launch a website and implement public funeral notification by email.
