Grand River Health Welcomes Andrew Hild, MD to the Family Medicine Team

Grand River Health in Rifle announces the addition of board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Andrew Hild.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Hild completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Omaha, Nebraska, he went on to complete a fellowship in Lexington, Kentucky, specializing in addiction medicine.

Dr. Hild and his family were drawn to Colorado to be closer to his wife’s family and to practice medicine in a rural setting. Through his education and clinical experience, Dr. Hild developed an appreciation for rural medicine and the meaningful connections formed in small communities. He values building relationships with patients and believes it is essential to understand each individual’s goals of care so he can help guide them toward informed, thoughtful medical decisions.

Outside of work, Dr. Hild enjoys fishing, running, and playing guitar. He lives with his wife, their two children, and their dog and cat.

💗 Thank You, Rifle High School! 💗

Grand River Health is incredibly grateful to Rifle High School for inviting us to be a part of last night’s Pink Out basketball game. Events like this play a powerful role in raising awareness around breast cancer and reminding our community how important early detection truly is.

Pictured is one of our expert Mammographers, Peyton Caldwell, who is also a former Lady Bear. It was a special moment for Peyton to attend this game wearing her throwback practice jersey with pride. Peyton was honored to help share education about mammograms, ABUS, and breast density screenings — tools that can make a life-saving difference for so many women and families in our valley.

And a huge congratulations to both the girls and boys basketball teams on bringing home the wins! 🏀🎉 The energy in the gym, the community support, and the purpose behind the night made it one to remember.

Thank you, Rifle High School, for using your platform to support health, awareness, and community. We’re proud to stand beside you. 💕
