Not everyone suffers from Expressive Aphasia after a stroke. Depending on where the clot was in the brain can lead to different outcomes and deficits. Ernie’s stroke affected the frontal lobe which controls communication among other things. Thank goodness I knew what Ernie likes and doesn’t like before his big stroke because it has helped so much in understanding him when he does get his words jumbled. It’s not all the time, but frequently enough to drive us both crazy sometimes. 🤪❤️🥰 Here is a video of one of those moments.

23 medications! That’s a LOT of meds for one person and for one’s kidneys! With research and holistic alternatives with some of the meds, we are doing better but learning as we go. ❤️

And a damn good one I am, I must say! 🤣🤪
